MyHeroInABook was founded on a simple, stubborn idea: a children's book shouldn't be disposable. It should be the kind of object a child carries from their bedside table into adulthood — and one day, hands to their own children.

We are a small studio of writers, illustrators, and bookbinders. Every story is written with care. Every page is illustrated by hand. Every cover is bound to last.

We don't print on demand in the cheapest way possible. We don't paste names into templates. We craft each volume the way the great picture books of the last century were crafted — with reverence for the child who will read it.
